EN 1647 Caravan Holiday Homes

What is EN 1647?

EN 1647 wall construction

At Regal Leisure Homes we believe that the inherent wall construction within a caravan is fundamental to producing a durable and high quality product that will provide many years of enjoyment, with a strong heritage of manufacturing luxury caravan holiday homes. Our holiday homes are constructed using a decorative wallpapered internal wall board, timber studding incorporating thermal insulation, finished in a scratch resistant aluminium exterior or rigid vinyl where applicable.

Roof construction

Equally as important as the wall construction, the strength and design of the roof in a holiday home caravan is essential in producing a caravan capable of providing a comfortable and secure holiday home for many years of enjoyment. Our holiday homes all have a dual pitch rafter with a minimum 100mm fibre insulation, a breathable moisture resistant membrane and tile effect roof sheets. Much of the strength in our roof is derived from the fact that we build all of our roofs in one piece providing extra strength.

uPVC window systems

All of our models come with uPVC double glazing as standard.

Chassis

A fully galvanised chassis is standard on the Hartland Lodge and the Artisan Lodge. A pre-galvanised chassis is standard on the Charmouth and Hemsworth and is available as an option on the Baywater.

Cladding

A choice of external cladding is available, including anti-scratch aluminium, rigid vinyl, wood effect CanExel and timber.
